New nail services
You may have noticed we have had a few changes to our nail services, so I wanted to send an email explaining them to make your online booking process easier.
Our 4 nail options are now as follows:
Shellac or reshellac- there have been no changes to these services. Shellac is simply gel polish mixed with regular polish. In short, shellac has taken the best of gel (no-chips and colour) and added the benefits of traditional polish (shine and ease to remove). Perfect for those with naturally strong nails who need 2 weeks from their polish.
Hema free Builder Gel. This is a new system we are using. We will use builder gel to create an overlay giving strength and structure to the natural nail. This option is perfect for infilling and doesn’t need to be removed each time. In fact we encourage infilling because this reduces the frequency your nails are exposed to acetone and allows nails to grow strong and healthy. Designed to last between 3/4 weeks and perfect for those who need a bit of strength added to their nails.
There are 2 options when booking this service
No colour- this means you just have the builder gel, we have a selection of natural shades to choose from. Perfect for those wanting a natural finish (see image for examples).
Builder gel with colour -This will be the same builder gel but with a choice of colour on top, we have over 100 colours to choose from including some lovely new colours . Again, we can infill this option and you can pick a brand new colour each time.
Calgel - there have been no changes to this service. Calgel is a one phase gel nail system that has built its reputation on being an easy to wear one-step gel nail system that soaks off and lasts up to six weeks.
Magpies full on gel tip extensions - this is a brand new service we’re using; perfect for nail extensions. These are quick, tough and come in a variety of lengths and shapes, perfect for those looking to extend the length on the nails. Don’t forget I’d you’ve broken a nail you can book a 1 nail extension option to have all your nails the same length again.These can be infilled. Lasts up to 4 weeks.
