Re-opening update
Following the recent announcement from Nicola Sturgeon on our re-opening, at this stage we can announce Lorna will be taking bookings from the 15th of July. Please note if you already had an appointment booked beyond this date it still stands and you do not need to re-book.
As you can imagine I am extremely disappointed that beauty salons who follow the same hygiene and safety measures as barbers and hairdressers we are not being treated equally.
I am fighting this. After being closed for 4 months it’s imperative that beauty salons are not forgotten about. I personally believe a massage to help people with pains from working from home on laptops with poor posture and working conditions is just as important as a hair cut and just as safe.
I believe at this stage the government are not looking at the scientific evidence and being led by peer pressure and are forgetting about the industries that maybe haven’t spoken up or shouted loud enough before.
Those of you who know me will know I’ve fought hard to keep my business running and will continue to do so. I’ve taken this matter to my local MSP to address it and will keep in touch.
In the meantime please know we hope to welcome you all back soon

Our Paula's One Lounge story
I have been on quite a journey over the last 7 years with Julia at ProSoccer then The One Lounge.
I am so lucky to be part of an amazing team; Julia has hand picked us all and I think we simply are the best 😊I have been a therapist for over 18 years.
Over the last few years I've been on various courses such as derma stamping, advanced electrolysis, oncology massage, myofascia massage, lycon wax, and updating my deep tissue massage.
I'm also passionate about dermalogica and have been on several new workshops, renewing my expert status just recently.
Last year was amazing for me when I won SHABA award for BEST MASSAGE therapist 🥳 my biggest achievement so far, I was just delighted. I love massage and knowing I'm doing something that can lift the spirits of someone else, physically and mentally thrills me.
I really have the best job, amazing boss and friend Julia (who always pushes us to reach our potential) and great bunch of work mates and clients. Love you all and cant wait to get back to the salon and see you all soon. â¤
Gearing up to re-open
We have all been doing so many courses from home. Updating skills, are learning new info.
We have also updated our dermalogica expert status so we have the best knowledge when we are able to re-open.
